The cut described on page 17 was pulled westward toward meter 167 E. No new loci were found, so the designation locus 2 applies to the entire day's work. the soil was rich in finds, so careful, slow work was absolutely necessary. Three latte boxes of pottery and bone were discovered. Yesterday was spent in the magazzini.
