Work began continuing the pick pass from Friday.  A sherd of ridged pottery was found.

A fair amount of pottery is being found, along with some bone; notably more than was found in Locus 2.  This pass also removed the terra cotta packing noted in the Locus 3 drawing, which consisted largely of flanges.  While picking, a diagnostic bone fragment was found.

While sorting, another fragment was found which joined along a modern break edge; this was added to the find and drawing.  Another diagnostic bone fragment was found.

Once the pick pass was completed, hand picks and trowels were used to smooth out the trench floor and define the line of stones in the NW corner of the trench.

Smoothing and defining the trench continued.  A tooth was found.
