Daily Log

July 2, 1976

Work continued on cut #2.  In front of the doorway (grids J-M 38-39) we continued to find a heavy concentration of pottery- both coarse and fineware.

At the same time work continued in the interior of the room, removing the red earth stratum.  In grids L 35-36 a heavy coarseware deposit was cleaned.

III casette of tile dumped

Outside the doorway, heavy burning, including large pieces of burnt plaster and much carbon, was encountered.
