Agger 9 - Section B

Work began on removing the capping stones.

Section C

Fill continued to be removed. The northern edge of a stone foundationi wall, running EW & onlune with the major EW wall defining the southern end of the complex was located 9.7m from the southern EW wall in Agger 5. Found within the wall was a small piece of pottery - reddish-orange fabric with black paint, and in the fill a sherd of tannish fragment with red & black paint, perhaps Corinithian. Usual pottery & tiles.

Editorial Note

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
