Excavation continued in locus 3 this morning. The southwest corner of the trench is showing a soil change which is being left intact for now until all of locus 3 is excavated from the trench.

Excavation continued in locus 3 this afternoon. Approximately two pick passes were completed today, lowering the trench an average of 10-15 cm. Approximately 10 1/2 bowls of terracotta fragments were recovered among which was a pithos fragment. Stones fist size and larger are frequently appearing throughout the trench. Approximately 3/4 latte box of pottery sherds was found along with 18 fragments of bone, 2 pieces of shell and one tooth. A fragment of bronze was made a bulk find.
