A.M.

Continued work lowering the trench floor outside the perimeter of the well (meters N 2-3.5/W 14&15).  More well stones were revealed that lie underneath those previously visible.  All work was confined to Locus 3.

P.M.

Continued to lower level of trench floor.  Presence of more well stones indicates that the well's bottom has not yet been reached.  All work was done within Locus 3 today, and no material was recovered.
