Opening photos were retaken for locus 10 . A pick-pass was carried out throughout the entire locus. It was then decided to extend the trench a third time. The numerous fist-size and smaller stones found in the locus suggested the possibility of a stone pathway. Locus 10 was closed.
Closing co-ordinate elevations for locus 10 :
NW(80-E/47-S): 25.69 m. above absolute elevation (94 cm. below datum point)
NE(84-E/47-S): 25.74 m. above absolute elevation (89 cm. below datum point)
SE(84-E/49-S): 25.59 m. above absolute elevation (104 cm. below datum point)
SW(80-E/49-S): 25.60 m. above absolute elevation (103 cm. below datum point)
Approximately 1/3 bowl of small well-worn fragments of terracotta was recovered. Approximately 1/5 latte-box of pottery sherds was found. Two special finds were made. One small piece of
bronze was made a bulk find.

#1. Locus 10 82.6-E/47.3-S 25.76 m. above absolute elevation (87 cm. below datum point) Iron chunk
#2. Locus 10 82.5-E/47.6-S 25.72 m. above absolute elevation (91 cm. below datum point) Bronze blob
The trench was now extended south and east. This area was declared locus 11 . Opening co-ordinate elevations and photos were taken after the area was cleared of brush, plants and other organic matter, and
the locus laid out.
The soil of locus 11 is dark brown in color and is humus in nature.

NW(84-E/47-S): 26.12 m. above absolute elevation (51 cm. below datum point)
NE(85-E/47-S): 26.14 m. above absolute elevation (49 cm. below datum point)
SE(85-E/50-S): 25.92 m. above absolute elevation (71 cm. below datum point)
SW-1(83-E/50-S): 25.90 m. above absolute elevation (73 cm. below datum point)
SW-2(83-E/49-S): 25.98 m. above absolute elevation (65 cm. below datum point)
Opening co-ordinate elevations for locus 11 (cont.):
SW-3(84-E/49-S): 25.96 m. above absolute elevation (67 cm. below datum point)
A pick-pass was carried out over half of the locus. Two small well-worn fragments of terracotta were recovered.
