IV. Daily Log

A.M./P.M.     13 July 2016

Opening photos were retaken for locus 10 .  A pick-pass was carried out throughout the entire locus.  It was then decided to extend the trench a third time.  The numerous fist-size and smaller stones found in the locus suggested the possibility of a stone pathway. Locus 10 was closed.

Closing co-ordinate elevations for locus 10 :

NW(80-E/47-S): 25.69 m. above absolute elevation (94 cm. below datum point)

Approximately 1/3 bowl of small well-worn fragments of terracotta was recovered.  Approximately 1/5 latte-box of pottery sherds was found.  Two special finds were made.  One small piece of

bronze was made a bulk find.
