A pick pass was done through the whole trench except that last meter in the west (5E-6E) There is less carbon than the previous pass but it is still present. While sorting dirt a piece of slag was found (special find #1) While sorting the pass a larger piece of slag was found (special find #2).

A pick pass was done to level the trench. While cleaning in the Northwestern meter 4 pieces of slag were recovered (special finds #3, 4, 5, 6).

In order to better see any soil changes in the horizontal stratigraphy it was decided to remove all stumps in the trench. Stumps A, B, and C were removed in their entirety.
