Starting in the northern meter of the trench another pick pass of the entire trench was completed in the afternoon. The soil was of a slightly lighter brown appearance with occasional patches of yellow. A few more fragments of tile were recovered (4 pieces). There was far less organic material but roots continued to appear. These were clipped. The trench was cleared down and closing elevations were taken.

N.E. 60 cm BD

S.E. 77 cm BD

S.W. 64 cm BD

Bulk finds:

Tile: 12 pieces (all 5-10 cm in size and heavily worn)
