Locus Summary

Locus Summary

Since all of the various trenches in the CD12 area were shallow cuts, which excavated only topsoil/humus to the top of Locus 2 (rock pack layer) -- with the exception oif CD12D -- no locus forms will be completed.

FOr all trenches, Locus 1 was topsoil (Munsell designation - 10 YR 2/2 Very Drak Brown).  Locus 2 was the hard pack soil and rock layer for all trenches, except CD12 itself, for which Locus 2 was rocks from the apparant terrace wall and Locus 3 was the hard surface.  In CD12D, Locus 3 was bedrock.
