Agger 4

The dike was taken down to the first floor level in building B, & to the existing floor level in the other 2 sections of the dike. (see plan p. 25) Found were:

1. letter A on pantile

2. iron slag

3. ridge pole tile frag

4. Gorgon frag of right ear & some hair with paint.

5. small frieze frag, probably procession

6. about 3/4 coarse, impasto vase

7. unusual tiles, pottery & some bones

Topsoil continued to be removed.
