A topsoil cut was begun in meters A/6-10. The cut measured 25 cm in depth in meters A/8-10 and 40 cm in meters A/6-8, due to the lateral slope of the trench and the large rocks present in these meters.

The cut in meters A/5-10 was continued. The rocks in A/5-6 were cleaned down and a lump o slag was found. Two cassetti of terracotta tile fragments, two latte boxes of pottery and one latte box of plaster chunks were found. The pottery fragments included: redware, orangeware, grayware, and bucchero. The soil in the cut was loose, rooty brown topsoil.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
