Opening Elevations (Locus 7 )

We began the day taking the above points. Once these were recorded, we excavated the baulk wall between trenches T-61 and T-62. We designated one person to work on removing dirt and roots situated at the SW corner of the trench (locus 7 ). When the baulk wall was at ground level, a pick pass was done and the area excavated. This was repeated three times in the AM.

Excavation continued to lower Locus 7 to the \'floor\' or excavation level of T-62 and the rock features there (Locus 4 - T-62). The soil remains a medium olive brown. Little tile or pottery have been recovered.
