A topsoil cut was opened in meters J-L/77-86. Here, there was a lot of grass, heavy roots, stumps and small rocks on and below the surface level. The soil itself was dark brown and included a lot of humus. About 2 cassette of very worn terracotta was found here and a small amount of ceramic and bone.
Worjk was done in meters lifting fill and backwash over the plastic. About ½ cassetta terracotta and plaster was recovered aa well as ½ latte box of mixed bone and battered ceramics, little showed burning.
The floor continued to be cleared of fill at varying points over the buliding with small amounts of plaster and terracotta and the occasional fragment of ceramic recovered.
Photos were taken of the building today, documenting the condition of the column bases and the floor at various points. Closeups were taken showing floor preservation in good areas (V-X/ 74-75) and poor areas (YZ/60-61).

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.
The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
