The layer of stones between the south wall of the building and the south edge of the trench was taken up. About three boxes of tiles and one small piece of horse race frieze (R4 19680658) was found before bedrock was reached below the top of the wall. Additional find:
The third course was taken down and produced about two boxes of tiles. Finds included a worn griffin's paw, a piece of goron hair, and an oddly curved section.
