Tile: 1 1/2 T-23, negligible T-26
Pottery: 1/2 T-23, negligible T-26
Brief summary: T-26 topsoil and stumps completed removed. Trench at a depth of ~30 cm in NW corner, ~15 cm in SW corner due to slope of hill. T-23 taken to ~30-35 cm. Meters B-C/12 ~40 cm. BB, CC ~15 cm. New cut in C/11-12, taken to ~45 cm just above the tile layer. Bronze nails and ivory found.
Excavation of T-26 continued. Entire trench cleared of stumps and taken down to ~30 cm level measured from NW corner. Very little tile or pottery encountered.
Excavation of T-23 continued with workmen. Stumps in BB-CC/11 prevented these meters from being taken to level of rest of trench. Tile is beginning to be exposed at ~35-40 cm. Small area of C/11-12 picked to ~45 cm just above tile. Soil carefully gone through, yielding ivory, nails of bronze, bronze slag and glass slag.

Summary: Meters C/11-12 were further excavated to ~45 cm, just above tile. Meters BB-CC/11 were taken partly to ~40 cm. Large amounts of tile hit in southern end of CC/11. A cut of ~15 cm was continued south in T-26.
T-23 C-H/12 produced only bronze slag. Heavy tile layer appears ~45 cm. Heavy tile in CC/11 at ~40 cm.
T-26 was taken to ~40 cm when measured from all edges of the trench. Tile is beginning to be encountered.
