Lithics analysis:
In the 2010 season five lithics were recovered from CA 64. Three fragments of worked chert, 20100047 , 20100017 , and 20100027 , show evidence of percussion from being intentionally struck. The presence of this typology of stone tools, potentially fragments of original blades, reinforces activity from the Villanovan period in the Civitate A area. 20100020 , a stone inlay piece, illustrates the presence of a decorative stone element on some sort of original artifact not recovered. Additionally a grinding stone, 20100024 , was found, indicating the use of another type of stone tool in the industry of the Civitate A area.
