Q-R/57-58 was excavated to 85-90 cm level.  The soil from this cut was yellow-green and clay-like in texture.  Assorted pottery was found in this cut - 3/4 of a tall latte box.  Several bronze slag fragments were found.  Of particular interest was a modeled buccheroid piece shaped like a wing.  One half of an impasto rocchetto was found.  Crucible fragments continue to be discovered.

V/58-57 was cleaned.  Assorted pottery was found.  One piece of ivory was also found.

Open Context editors work with data contributors to annotate datasets to shared vocabularies, ontologies, and other standards using 'Linked Open Data' (LOD) methods.

The annotations presented above approximate some of the meaning in this contributed data record to concepts defined in shared standards. These annotations are provided to help make datasets easier to understand and use with other datasets.
