The tiles in P-R 70 were cleaned and photographed. The cut was extended into R-Q 69. A smalll concentration of tiles and pithos were found and the area was begun to be cleaned . 1/3 cassetta of plaster and 1/3 cassetta of tile and 1 box of potteru were found. R 65 was taken down to depth 0.70m. Several tile fragments were found and Q 65 was begun to be cleaned using hammers and mestilina. The tile and pithos fragments were left in situ. 1/2 cassetta of tile and a few plaster fragments (basically from R 65) were found. 1 1/2 box of pottery was found (R-Q 65). The line of rocks and tiles in Q65 ( see p.69-70) was photographed (for photographs see p.68).
