Note: Trench was re-squared after picchetti were found to be out of line.  Southern 6 m. were maintained and minor adjustments (15 cm. max.) were made to other points.  Grid system, therefore, remianed essentially the same.

2nd cut (~25cm) was extended to B-D/1, B-D/3-5.  More tile was found in A/5 which was photographed in early a.m.  These and tile mentioned yesterday, A-C/6, were cleared futher of dirt.

2nd cut continued in rest of trench.

Grid extended 1 m. to East (1-7)

Tile in A/5 re-photo\'d.

No finds at all in W trench (A-C) in this 2nd cut.  Very rocky with roots as before.
