AM

Completed excavation in locus 16.  Its final length is 2m and its final depth is 110cm b.s. in meters.  Material recovered from locus 16 included 6 impasto fragments and 8 tile pieces.  Both tile and pottery came from the top 5cm of soil and were small and heavily worn.  Also a tubular shell and a piece of bronze were found.

Baulks were trimmed in locus 16 for the drawing of the section.  Floor in loci 14 and 15 were leveled to the uniform depth of 111-114cm b.s.  T 21 was cleared of loose rocks and tree twigs.
