Daily Log

16 July 2015

The morning began with a pick pass across the entirety of Locus 4 in order to bring the locus down to the level of the rest of the trench. The soil remains dark brown and dense with organic material and small fist sized rocks. Soil continues to be shoveled into buckets and sorted into wheelbarrows. Small concentrations of tile and pottery have been recovered, with most of the material coming from the northwest corner of the locus.

Another pick pass was executed across the entire locus in order to lower the level of the locus.
