Work continued in Trenches 18 and 19. Three men continued to clear the topsoil stratum from T-18 J-M/28-30. This soil contains small chipped rocks and a few fragments of terracotta and pottery. It is dark brown in color. At the same time, Angelo began to clear the topsoil from an area 8 m square directly east of the north extension of T-19. This area is designated T-19 J-M/34-35. The dark brown topsoil here contains small chipped rocks and a few fragments of pottery and terracotta.
