June 19, 1969

Completing excavation of the 9th layer.

The 10th layer, at a depth fo ca 1.20m was marked by small fragments of tiles and shards.

Galestra appeared at the W ens (at 1.0 m depth) and bedrock at the E end (at 1.10m). 4 boxes of tiles were gathered.

The 11th layer, which was extended to 1.35 m deep, revealed a shelf of galestra (1.0m - 1.45/1.90 m) at the west end. 7 boxes of tiles and the following finds were collected:

  • fragment with a wavy profile

The final, 12th layer was begun, but only tiles were collected. [MB]
