The topsoil cut in K-H/84-86 was continued. L-I/94-86 was cleared. In k-I/86-89 the soil was heavy dark brown soil with lots of roots and small stones. In K-I/92-94 the soil was similar. Most of the material from this type of soil was rather battered and included terracotta, a little palster and a few pieces of bone and ceramic. This soil continued under the dump but will be excavated during the next cut. The dump soil was considerably lighter in color and consistency. One and a half cassette of tile and plaster came from the dump as did one latte box of mixed ceramics and a little bone. About ¾ cassetta of mostly tile came out of the usual topsoil.
