It is decided that the same two meters that were concentrated upon in the last workdays will again be the focus of today's attention. THroughout the morning, pickpasses of a medium depth (app5-7 cm each) are taken in meters E125/S21-22. The soil remains the same light yellowish-brown in color and is Munselled at 2.5Y 6/3. THe desgination of locus 3 remains throughout this work.

Work continues in meters E125/S21-22 for the afternoon to remove as much material as possible within this limited area. In the middle of the afternoon, several rocks of a small/medium
size are uncovered. These rocks are predominantly located with meter S125/S21. The rest of the day is spent defining these rocks and levelling the floor/trimming baulk in preparation for photographs to be taken. No finds are desginated for the day. The day's work yields appr. 12 medium sized pieces of terra cotta/tiles and appr 40 small tile fragments and app 10 pieces of plaster.
