This morning excavation began in Locus 7 and Locus 5 . In Locus 7 the tile and ceramic packing was further exposed in the west of the locus. In Locus 5 we began by removing soil in the east butting the linear stone feature to potentially unveil and find an associated floor surface. As yesterday, a large quantity of tile and ceramic is being recovered, along with bone. In both sections we are excavating using minipicks and trowels.

This afternoon we continued defining and exposing tile and pottery packing in Locus 7 . Little material was removed; the aim is to keep it in situ.
Meanwhile, in Locus 5 , excavation continued defining and revealing the floor surface. Again we worked with the minipicks
