The line of rocks, tiles and pithos fragments in P-R 65 (see HDA I p 140) was removed and the area underneath excavated forn to depth 0.90-1.00. THe burn layer appeared at depth app. 1 m. In the burn layer was found coarse ware fragments with a proturbance (Villanovan?) - see also T27 (AC III p 185 find #4). A fragment of ionic bowl, a lid fragment and an impasto conical foot were also found. 2/3 cassetta of tile, 1/6 cassetta of plaster, some pithos fragments and 1 box of pottery were found.  RQ 70 were finished as well as P70. The fairly large amount of pottery continued, including bucchero, ionic bowl and orangeware continued. Among the finds were a support leg for a tripod like the one found in Q 69 ( see HDA I p 209 #3 ).

1/2 cassetta of tile, 1/4 cassetta of plaster, and 1 1/2 box of mixed pottery were found.

A line of rocks appearing in P-R 67 was cleaned.
