A.M.
The first cut into the plaster layer was finished (depth 0.50m). 1/2 casetta of tile, a few plaster and bone fragments. 2/3 box of mixed pottery and a blackemed fragments of a pithos rim.
The next cut (depth 0.60m) was stated but work slowed down due to the finds of bronze and ivory.
1 casetta of tile, 1 casetta of plaster and 1 box of mixed pottery were found (+ several sea snails).
P.M.
The cut started this morning (depth 0.60m) was continued (P-R 70-71 and part of R-Q 66-67 were finished). The charcoal, as well as heavily burnt palaster and tile, are abundant. Several large fragments of pithos were found in R 70. 1 casetta of tile, 2/3 casetta of plaster, box of mixed
pottery (bucchero increasing in number), among which incised fragments and ionic bowl fragments were found.
A number of small bronze fragments and a few ivory/worked bone fragments were found.
