A light pick pass was completed in the area of the removed tiles. This exposed stones. Using trowels and hand picks, more stones are exposed. Terra cotta is recovered along with bone. The exposed stones are defined as excavation continues.

After defining the stones in the western 2.5 meters of the trench, pick passes were completed in the eastern 2.5 meters in an attempt to see in the line of stones continue. The soil is clay-like with charcoal inclusion. There are small stones in abundance within the soil. Tiles and pieces of pottery have been found with some pieces of bone.
