Excavation continued in locus 3 .  The trench was lowered approximately 5 cm.  Fifteen bowls (24 cm. in diameter, 7 cm. in depth) of terracotta fragments were recovered, most of them were found in the western end of the trench.  Seventeen fragments of bone were recovered along with a latte box of pottery sherds.  A large stone (approx. 25 X 20 X 15 cm.) was removed from the eastern end of the trench.  Seven special finds were made (#1:  impasto base, #2:  bronze slag, #3:  terracotta fragment with evidence of a hole, #4:  impasto handle, #5:  terracotta fragment, #6:  bronze tack, #7:  associated impasto sherds).
