The line of rocks in P-R 66 was photographed and sketched and left in situ (photos see page ).

The fifth cut into the plaster layer (depth 0.9-1m) in P-R 65-71 was extended into P-R 71 and RQ65 (Q 65 also partially excavated). In P-R 71 a large amount of tile and plaster were found-mostly small fragments. 3 cassetta of tile and 3.5 cassette of plaster and 2 boxes of pottery and bone were found. A large fragment of a cover tile with a complete width was found in P71 (photgraphed in situ, p 19 ). The concentration of tile seems to continue below this level. The burn layer was not reache din this area. A plaster concentration was found in R 71 together with fragments of vitrified tile (photographed and left in situ, p ). In R-Q 65 the concentration

pithos fragments (appr 1 cassetta) continued. In Q 65 a complete pithos based (diam 0.4 m), lying upside down, right above the burn layer, was found. On the inside, a little off center, is a grain impression. Right next to the base is another joining fragment preserving part of the base and part of the wall (also found upside down). In this area a large amount of pottery was found- bucchero, ionic bowl, large chalice/cup fragments.. Two rocchetto fragments, one with a stamped design, were also found.

In this area the burn layer was found at app depth 1 m . 2 cassette of tile, 2/3 casette of plaster and 2 boxes of mixed pottery and bone were found.
