Boxes of pottery 1/2

Boxes of tile 1/2

Work started today in Rect. 2 with a cut 3 m long, 3-5 and 2 m wide, A-B. This cut helped to define a previous excavation down to the bedrock. Large amounts of plaster and some tiles were found. The initial surface of the soil is a dark brown resting immediately upon a light yellow layer. Pottery pieces included coarse-ware pottery rims and bases.
