Excavation continued in Loci 8 , 9 , and 10 . Tile and pottery (and a significant amount of slag) is being recovered. Soil in Locus 8 is yellow and chalky, while in Locus 10 .

Soil remains medium brown/olive green.

Excavation temporarily stopped in Locus 8 , Locus 9 and Locus 10 . In Locus 10 a large amount of pottery has been recovered along with a number of carbon pieces/ chunks (1-2cm in size). In the afternoon work concentrated on removing the stump in the N.W. corner and another stump in the N.E. corner of the extension bordering and overlapping into CA81. Some baulk tile and pottery was recovered.
