Introduction

T-25, meters Y-Z/13-18 will be re-opened this year to continue the work begun last season.  Due to the large amount of material recovered during the 1994 season, it was impossible to complete the trench, excavating down to sterile soil/bedrock.

The goals for this area remain the same as last season's goals: recovery of material from the burn/destruction layer, the possibility of discovering pre-Orientalizing remains, and the creation of sections to greater facilitate the understanding of the phases of habitation on the site.
