Daily Log

June 7, 1980

Grids 24-25/K-L were excavated 80 cm at which point galestra was reached.  The yellow soil layer contained hardly any pottery.  It was decided to terminate the trench begun in these grids.  The lack of finds in this area may be the result of the area having been kept free of debris since it lies in the path of the east entrance of the Upper Building.  A trench should be dropped another

10 or 15 meters to the south.
