T-23 1980 Extension Bronze

Bronze was a common material in T-23 1980 Extension, though most of this was in the form of slag.  Of the bronze which is not slag, there are a number of nails and tacks.  There is also one bronze vessel fragment.

While the bronze finds were scattered throughout the trench, there were areas where the bronze seemed to be most concentrated.  GG/9 at ~50 cm was one such area and it is significant to note that this meter was also a source for a number of ivory fragments.  The other areas of bronze concentration have been noted throughout the trench.

Moreover, while some of the bronze was found adjacent to carbonized wood, much of it was not, and in general, the bronze finds were intermixed with tile and stone.
