Frist hour was spent extending locus 12 15cm to the east in order to verify hthat burn layer extends underneath west wall foundation stones of the south building. Material reveoruver included 10 small and heavily wron tile fragmetns, 3 bone pieces, 6 redware, and 22 impasto sherds. Final depths of the cut was 131 cm bs in S 46-47 E 151-152. The rest of the morning was spent working in meters S 50-51, E 149-150 where a new locus 14 was opened. It is a continuation of a section trench running immediately east of T21 west baulk. It will be excavated to sterial soil.

Material recovered from locus 14 included 1/3 of cassetta of tile fragments, majority of which were small adn heavily worn, and 1 and 2/3 latte boxes of pottery. 9 bone fragments, 204 impsto, 50 redware, 20 coarseware, 3 creamware, 4 grayware, and 6 bucchero fragments. Finds included 4 sherds of painted creamware, 2 incised pottery fragmetns, 2 crusible fragements, 1 conical impast foot with score marks on 2 fragments, 1 creamware conical foot (or finial), a piece of vitrified material, and an impasto ring base with heavily worn break edges.
