It is difficult to draw conclusions about Tesoro 56 on the basis of its bone finds because most of the numbers are small & so many of the loci are or contain backfill.

What is interesting is that Locus 12 & 15 contain relatively high numbers of bone. These are both archaeologically secure loci. However, the numbers for both loci are small when compared w/ the bone numbers for trenches on the Piano del Tesoro in the area north of OC2 Workshop, such as T-45 and T-46, where certain loci produced bone in the thousands. It should also be kept in mind that when all the final counts on the bone were completed & the bones were bagged for storage, no locus produced more than a liter of bone.
