Excavation of B-H, 13-14 continued.

The area around the squares C-d, 13-14 produced a blackened stratum with much charcoal after excavation had passed below the level of the surface of the plaster "pavement" (cf page 47 ) extending along through squares B, 5-14.  This area produced blackened pottery, iron slag, several fragments of iron nails, and tiles.  The finds included:
