III. Trench layout
The SW corner of CB-38 is located 6 m north of the NE corner of the extended area of CB-35. The trench was triangulated from a previously established baseline running along the 50 W line using tape measure. The coordinates of the trench are as follows:
- NW corner: 97 S / 50 W
- NE corner: 97 S / 45 W
- SE corner: 102 S / 45 W
- SW corner: 102 S / 50 W
The datum point (derived from the datum point of CB-35 using a transit) has an absolute elevation of 31.54 m AE.
