June 15, 1978
Excavatino today finished clearing the burned layer in N-O 4-5 and revealed a fine-grained yellow soil directly beneath, totally clean. This is the same layer contacted at T17: P-4. The remainder of the morning was spent clearing NT-1:D-B 4. A small flake of bronze was found within the topsoil in C-4.
