Description Locus 3 covers the southern ¾ of the trench. It is a hard yellow-white soil with white and yellow inclusions in it and veins of quartz, and is a dense soil that is challenging to pick. It appears to be a natural deposit. No material was recovered from Locus 3. Locus 3 abuts Locus 4 and lay under Locus 2.
