| Description | Locus 17 is top soil, it dark brown with patches of reddish silt. There are lots of organics, patches of small rocks in no discernible pattern. Most of the locus is comprised of large roots from the tree in the southern part of the trench. There is very worn tile and very little pottery. Locus 17 is decontextualized and modern. It is equivalent to Locus 15, 14, 13, 1 and 6. |
