Description | Fragment of a Procession frieze plaque preserves portion of the finished back surface, two complete dentils, and two partial dentils. The back of the plaque is smooth The frieze plaque is believed to be part of the procession because of the amount of empty space without decoration. In other frieze plaque themes, such as the Banquet or Horserace, have iconography that is much closer together. |
