| Description | This is the only architectural feature that is definitively shared between the rooms off the South Passageway of the Upper Temenos and the southwest Residential Quarter (Trench 94). The lack of further shared features between these two areas was due to the central portion not being excavated. The nicely hewn and dressed wall is composed of large ashlars that are fitted tightly together. In width they average 1.28 m. The wall extends 11.00 m from where excavation commenced at the eastern boundary of trench 89 to the central portion where it ends just to the east of the entrance to Cave 1. This wall also provides the east wall for Room 1. | |
