Description Locus 5 was never excavated. It was declared because the dense greenish-brown clay was becoming sandier in texture, but due to constraints of the excavation the resources of VT-14 were moved to help focus on other trenches. Locus 5 underlay Locus 4 and abuts Locus 3 to the south. Locus 5 is the same locus as Locus 15 in VT-13.
