Definition		Major Destruction
Description		The Brown soil (Munsell 7.5 YR 4/4) represents the overburden from the hillside above: scattered deposits of pottery, bone and other artifactual material with a tremendous number of sizable masonry fragments intermixed with small stones.

Bottom (m)		Closing Depth: 907.342 m.
Top (m)		Opening Depth: 907.872 m.

Location		In the trench east.
Stage		Stage 8
Size		5.30 m-by-6.28 m.
Phase Description		Phase XII: Use levels, robbing and abandonments continue. Upper levels of fluvial wash are deposited. Rooms A and B are abandoned.
Stage Description		More recent wash and further accumulation of soil.
Overlies		Soil Loci 10 and 11.
Phase Description		Phase XIII: Major collapses continue into the Islamic period.
Phase Description		Phase XI: Further collapse post-CE 5th c., possibly the result of the earthquake of 512. Fill accumulates following the disuse of the canalization systems. The remains of two bodies are found in the upper level fluvial deposits. Localized burning in some areas.
