Description Locus 3 was declared after the anticipated discovery of a rock feature spanning the entirety of the trench. Pottery and terracotta were discovered but, as the focus was on definition of a rock feature, a majority was left in the ground in order to establish a more comprehensive visual of the formation. Locus 3 remained open while excavating the eastern extension to CB-49 and was closed when combined with locus 5 to create locus 6. Locus 3 produced 1/2 a latte box of pottery and 1/2 a bowl of terracotta.
