| Definition | N Rooms Chamber 3, Removal of soil in Locus 25 the northeast propped up vault in the Praefurnium | |
| Location | In the most north wall of Trench 127, the N Rooms. | |
| Underlies | Locus 19 debris and the east west wall between the N Rooms and Trench 126 | |
| Phase Description | Phase XI: Further collapse post- CE 5th c., possibly the result of the earthquake of CE 512. Major collapses in the Lower Temenos lead to the continued accumulation of fill. At this time the East Colonnade collapses significantly onto a bed of accumulated soil, as does the entablature of the East Exedra. | |
| Combined with | Those loci that exhibit repair. We assume this vault originally was open and was bolstered up with hypocaust tiles after a collapse. | |
| Description | The soil is a Munsell Brown 7.5YR 5/3 color. This vault was propped up in its middle by stacked hypocaust tiles. Accumulated debris had filled in the sides of the vault. It was incompletely excavated due to the fact that there was collapse observed on the other side of the dividing wall between Rooms 1 North and the south wall (same wall) of Trench 126. It was reasoned that excavation would impact the Trench 126 deposits and might bring about their collapse. It had been compromised and in antiquity, and in its weakened state we cleaned around the supportive hypocaust tiles and without further excavation left them and what remained of the vault in situ. | |
| Size | 0.70 m in width, depth could not be determined. |
